Christian Images Still Inspire Us
Rachael Pitts, an artist for more than 25 years, creates images based on medieval religious art. This type of art provided a vision to the faithful of Biblical heroes and saints. These images, unique in their time and place, provide artistic inspiration today. The three examples below were painted in oils in 2008.
Medieval Moderns
That's what Rachael calls them. She loves medieval art and longs to travel the world to view ancient chapels and cathedrals in person. Until then she plies her trade as a graphic artist.
Contemporary Art
